    Hello Traveling Team Parents; as earlier dicussed in casual conversation at the Stout game, I have purchased lunch bags for Trick or Treats for the boys. We were looking for ideas to enjoy the Halloween wknd for the boys playing at Oshkosh on Saturday. A few of us thought it would be a good idea to have a Trick or Treating area near the busses for the players and coaches to do a little "Trick or Treating" before boarding the busses. I have purchased giant size lunch bags from Target. Sizes are: 6" x 4" x 12". Large enough bags for anyone wanting to donate or make homemade delicious treats and tricks of any size for the boys. Lets show the boys and coaches we support them and think they are SPOOKtacular. Any additional thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Beth S (#74 Caleb Schmidt's mom)

    Sounds good as discussed at Stout. I believe someone is getting string cheese so all can have 2. What about the little beef snacks? The question is do we make up the bags or let the guys go through and pick things. We want to make sure everyone gets some. ?? Thoughts

    Hi Shari, thank you for your comments. Do you know of a better way to get a mass email or communication out to the traveling team parents to pursue contributing to items for the bags? Perhaps, I need to send an email to Coach. Your question regarding letting guys go thru the line or make up the bags, answer= we will not be pulling into Oshkosh much before 5:30pm due to I have to open and close a bank that morning; therfore, I won't be leaving for a 4 hr 15 min drive until 1pm. Everything is workable but we may need to find another communication tool for this opportunity for the guys. Thoughts? Beth S :o)

    Hi Moms
    I received Debb's email but never thought to look here until this morning. We own a grocery store and I said I would bring bags for the guys to put treats in. I see you have purchased some bags, I will still bring them if not needed it's no big deal. I was bringing some honeycrisp apples along with some other treats. I like the idea of them trunk to trunk treating, but it might be easier to get bags together while they shower. However it works it's a fun idea! Go Eagles!! Barb Haffemann #89 Jeff's mom

    TGIF, whatever works. I already labeled the bags "UWL Football is SPOOOKtacular". It would be great if we can use mine OR we can save them and use them for next year. Whatever works. It will not take long at all to put treats in bags. We usually end up chatting and waiting for the guys for 20 min or so. We will have time to get those all done. Life is good! Beth

    We willbe getting to the game around 3:30-4:00ish. Last year they only let a few park in the stadium lot. I guess they weren't suppose to let us. You can park across the street its close. Should be fun, GO EAGLES!

    Hi! I just logged on today...should of looked earlier I guess. Just my opinion but having them all put together sounds like a better idea to me then the trick or treat (picking) option...not much time for some of the guys and some guys come out of the locker room at the last minute and might find themself with no treats:(...I will bring a big bag of treats for you to add to the bags, but unfortunately since we are coming from Mpls. and my husband works at 7am Sunday and we will already be getting home at 3AM (if lucky) I can't stay and help. I will be looking for Beth or Barb...we will arrive around 4ish. GO EAGLES!!

    Fabulous mom's. This is great. I will have the bags that are labeled "UWL Football is SPOOKtacular" and bringing lots of bannanas as it appears apples will be provided and other sorts of treats. Perhaps, next year we can come up with more creative tricks to enjoy with them. We will be leaving for our 4 1/2 hr drive at 1pm immediately after I close the bank. See you all there! I'll quick send off an email to Coach to let him know we'll have bags for all upon their boarding. Can't wait. GO EAGLES!! :O) Life is good. Beth #74 Caleb's mom.

    Hello again moms. I don't think we will get there until 5ish. I've planned for 75 with coaches and extras that might travel. Sounds like our boys will have plenty treats to enjoy on the trip back:)Go Eagles!Barb #89 Jeff's mom
